Local Hero

Ordinary people doing extraordinary things

We need Local Heroes to help us raise funds for people with epilepsy across Scotland. You can be an ambassador for us and become a Local Hero in your area by:

Jumping out of a plane

Sky diving and parachuting are extraordinary experiences and with Scottish Epilepsy Initiative your skydiving and parachuting dreams can come true. Raise the minimum sponsorship and you can jump for free! Online registration

Trekking the Sahara

In Feb 2010 we will be trekking 100k across the desert, not only that we will be taking a life size traditional British red telephone phone box, much like the famous phone box seen in the “Local Hero” movie, and placing it on top of Chegaga, the highest sand dune in the desert.
